Service Description

Yin Yoga is a healing style of practice that works into the deeper layers of Fascia (connective tissue). Positions are held longer than in yang/flowing styles of yoga and promote deep release, relaxation and peace. Working with Traditional Chinese Medicine Meridians and 5 Element Theory, these practices have many beneficial & liberating effects. All poses are adaptable for the individual. Steps for Practicing Yin Yoga - You will be guided: 1. Into the posture/shape, and to find your variation, that targets the desired area & Meridian/s. 2. How to relax your muscles. Find your edge & surrender into the posture. 3. Use techniques to allow time & space to settle into Sensations, Antar Mouna (inner Silence) & Stillness. 4. How to rebound (come out of the shape with as little fuss /movement as possible. Rest & Observe effects). All equipment is supplied.
